Why students
A lot of the messages we get come from students. Someone in engineering needs an enclosure for a final-year project. An architecture student needs a site model for a crit. A design student wants a prototype for their portfolio. Or someone just has an idea they want to hold in their hands.
These are usually the projects where a physical part matters most and the budget is smallest. A student rate is an easy way to help with that.
What it covers
It covers the same things we print for anyone else:
- Coursework and assignments — models, mock-ups, and demonstration pieces
- Thesis and final-year projects — enclosures, brackets, mounts, and functional prototypes
- Portfolio pieces — design work you want to show as a real object, not just a render
- Personal projects — cosplay parts, desk gadgets, miniatures, whatever you're building
If you already have a file, send it. If you only have a sketch or an idea, we can also model it for you.
How it works
- Get in touch. Send us a WhatsApp or an email about what you need printed, and tell us you're a student.
- We quote it. We'll look at the size, material, and time involved, then give you a quote with the student discount already taken off.
- We print it. Once you're happy with the quote, it goes on the printer.
It's "up to" 25% because it depends on the job. Every quote will show you exactly what's been taken off.
