What can you 3D print in Cape Town?
Forge & Figures prints tabletop miniatures, functional replacement parts, home organisation pieces, cosplay props, workshop gear, and custom gifts — all from our Cape Town studio using PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA filament.
Can you 3D print replacement parts for broken items?
Yes. Drop off or courier the original broken part to us — our modelling team reverse-engineers it into a printable file and we produce the replacement. This works well for discontinued knobs, clips, brackets, and trim pieces.
Do you print tabletop miniatures and D&D figures?
Yes. We print D&D characters, Warhammer proxies, scatter terrain, and custom miniatures at sub-0.1mm layers, hand-primed and ready for painting.
What 3D printing materials do you use?
We print in PLA (great detail, indoor use), PETG (tough, impact-resistant functional parts), ABS (heat-resistant, engineering-grade), and ASA (UV-stable outdoor parts). All four machines are equipped with Creality's CFS multi-colour, multi-material filament system.
Do you deliver 3D prints across South Africa?
Yes. You can collect in Cape Town or have your order shipped. Orders over R1000 qualify for free shipping.
Can you print multi-colour or multi-material 3D prints?
Yes — all four printers in our studio are equipped with Creality's CFS (Creality Filament System), which automatically switches between up to four filament colours or materials mid-print without manual swaps.
How much does a 3D print cost?
Pricing depends on size, material, and print time, but as a rough guide: functional parts and decor start from R250, miniatures and figurines from R500, and large display pieces from R1500. Send us a photo or description on WhatsApp for an accurate quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept EFT, manual bank transfer, SnapScan, and Capitec Pay. SnapScan and Capitec Pay both reflect almost instantly, so we can start your print the same day.
